Another Alexander Hero book. This time, he is sent to New York, where a scientist is convinced that he is in touch with his dead daughter through a medium. The evidence is a cast of a hand, with the fingerprints of the dead girl in them...

I like this one as much as I did Too Many Ghosts - not much! It's a good yarn, but very unconvincing.

A TV film was made of this in 1969, with the title Daughter of the Mind.
